October 17, 2022Monster SUV Toyota Fortuner developed in the Philippines
At the disposal of the RushLane portal were photos of the new version of the Toyota Fortuner for the Philippine market: the SUV was prepared for extreme off-road, having finalized the chassis.
The tuned Fortuner differs from the usual one in increased ground clearance, the presence of a winch and a snorkel, hood trims imitating air intakes, and powerful underbody protection. For the convenience of boarding and disembarking, the SUV was equipped with steps.
The local tuning studio Autobot Offroad PH took up the revision of the Toyota Fortuner – the project was called Albino. Based on the 2022 Fortuner GR Sport model, the SUV received a Unicorn suspension lift kit (152 millimeters), 35-inch Nitto Mud Extreme tires and 20-inch KMC Grenade Crawl wheels. In addition, the car got Profender shock absorbers, reinforced brakes from AP Racing and ARB underbody protection.
The SUV is driven by a 2.8-liter turbodiesel – its return is not specified, but it probably remains the same and amounts to 206 horsepower. The engine works in tandem with a six-speed automatic transmission. The drive is complete.
